In response to the inquiries made from the office of Grand Ayatollah Fazel Lankarani (may Allah grant him long life) about helping the injured, afflicted and homeless Lebanese people we - after sympathizing with them and praying for the victory of Islam and Muslims all over the world and for the reappearance of Imam Mahdi, the Imam of the Time (may Allah hasten his reappearance) - declare with all due respect that a committee of Ulamas (clerics) have been set up and dispatched to Syria to see and study the situation of the Lebanese refugees from close. As we are hearing from the news media, the crimes which are committed these days by the Zionist regime and its masters, after suffering military defeat on the ground, are so wide and deep that every human hearted and freedom loving individual in the world - Muslim or non-Muslim - is hurt seeing them. The crime committed in Qana is unforgettable and must be recorded in history. Although this is not the first and last crime of its kind our resistant Muslim nation has prepared itself to fulfill divine obligations and tolerate all kinds of hardships.
As Muslims we are obliged not to leave the cry and call of these oppressed people unanswered; we should do whatever we can to help them.
