In the name of Allah, the Compassionate the Merciful

Praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. Blessings and Peace on the Messenger of Allah, and on his pure Family especially Hazrat Zahra, the martyred lady, and God’s curse be upon their enemies in their entirety.

These days are coinciding with the martyrdom of the greatest lady of the Islamic world, Fatima Zahra (a.s.), a reality whose various great aspects and virtues, the intellectuals and enlightened individuals are unaware of. She is called Fatima no ordinary people are able to know her. She is the one whose wrath is the wrath of the Prophet (pbuh) and God and whose satisfaction is their satisfaction. She is the lady who, in addition to being the pivotal individual of the 'People of the Cloak' (Ahl-e Kisa), is the principal personality of the Ahlalbayt (a.s.) referred to in the verse tathir of the Quran. Almighty God desired to remove uncleanness from the Ahlalbayt (a.s.) as stated in the Quran verse 33 of Sura-e Ahzab. (Allah only desires to keep away the uncleanness from you, O people of the House! To purify you a (thorough) purifying.)

We are proud of following this noble lady and her children. In the present circumstance, we must further our awareness about her thoughts and instructions and be aware of our duty. In addition to magnificent commemorations, it is necessary on the religious scholars of the country and respected orators to give special attention to the spiritual and scientific dimensions of Fatima Zahra's personality. Thank God, the Shiite school is backed with arguments and logic which fair and contemplative people surrender to.

The enemy knows very well that in order to separate the Muslim nation from their religious values and get hegemony over them, they have to abolish the expressions of religious beliefs and faith. Sometimes, they, out of their ignorance, describe the mourning rituals as idle and useless, other times, they raise spurious arguments against the martyrdom of Fatima Zahra , a conceded and well-established fact in the history of Islam.

The enemies must know that if they think they can raise doubts about her martyrdom, they cannot deny or distort the fact that she was oppressed and treated harshly and unjustly after her father's demise. Her short life span, her fiery sermon supported by arguments and delivered in Masjid al-Nabi, her nightly cries and her firm defense of the station of wilayah (successorship) are all clear proofs of the oppression and injustice that she had suffered. The Islamic world is permanently mournful at the oppression and injustice levied upon her and her husband.

The Islamic revolution of Iran originated from the Iranian nation's heedfulness and attention to these sad days. The best means to safeguard and perpetuate its values is to give importance to such days.  It is necessary for the Shiites and the followers of the Ahlalbayt (a.s.) to attach further importance to fatimiyah days and let not this sad event be  be neglected in the midst of other events, especially, the 3rd of Jamadi al-Thani which has been declared as an official holiday by the Islamic Republic of Iran should be given special attention.  We hope that as we accompany that great lady, the mother of the Shi'ite culture, we get her intercession and the intercession of her pure children on the Day of Judgment.

Peace and blessings of Allah be on all our faithful brothers.

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate the Merciful

Surely (as for) those who speak evil things of Allah and His Messenger, Allah has cursed them in this world and the hereafter, and  He has prepared for them a Chastisement bringing disgrace. [1]

And the Messenger of Allah said:

"فاطمة بضعة منّى من آذاها فقد آذانى"

"Fatima is a part of my flesh: whoever causes her to be upset, upsets me."[2]

Shia is proud of Fatima who is the noble lady of the world enjoying the position of infallibility as mentioned in tathir verse of the Quran which was revealed about five people including the Holy Prophet of Islam (pbuh). Allah desired to keep away all forms of uncleanness from her; it was a thorough purification. The position of Fatima Zahra is so lofty and great that it is far beyond our understanding and out of the horizon of our thought.

She is the first martyred lady in the way of wilayat (successorship) and imamat  (leadership) and the Infallible Imams were proud of being her children. [3]

Fatima is a woman who while being extremely oppressed and deeply affected by many calamities particularly her father’s demise and at such a sensitive time when ordinary people were hardly able to utter a word, she stood up and delivered such a speech in the presence of rulers, elites and tribal leaders that wise people are unable to perceive. The speech is firm and full of concrete proofs about monotheism (tawheed), prophethood and leadership. It is also a rapprochement of those who, owing to their luxurious and peaceful lives, had relinquished their divine duty and were silent in the face of others’ injustice.

Yes, we must admit that unfortunately we have not been able to recognize her even after fourteen centuries and what is more pitiable is that ignorance, carnal desires and the negative influence of apparently new thoughts have caused some blind-hearted individuals to doubt the loftiness of her position and greatness of her virtues.

Indeed it is never perceivable for an ordinary human being to see a woman from the category of humans to reach such a high a peak of dignity her satisfaction amounts to God’s satisfaction.

Wrong, baseless and malicious words are written and expressed about this great lady hurting the conscience of every fair and truth seeking individual. There is no doubt that the builder of the Islamic revolution, Imam Khomeini, did stress on Muslim unity but he never meant that Shia should desist from his firm and concrete ideological foundations and stand thereof as an indifferent witness to  untruthful allegations even about Zahra (a.s.). He meant that Muslims should unite against the enemies of Islam and global superpowers so that they may not be able to harm the Religion.

It is now the duty of the Shi’ites and followers of the Ahlalbayt (a.s.) to commemorate Monday, the third of Jamadi Al-Thani which has been declared an official holiday by the Islamic Republic of Iran. The commemorations should be magnificent qualitatively and quantitatively and mourning processions should come out into the streets so that by doing so we may have fulfilled part of our obligations towards her. Obviously, indifference in this regard would entail grievous consequences.

Peace and blessings of Allah be on all our faithful brothers.

Surely (as for) those who speak evil things of Allah and His Messenger, Allah has cursed them in this world and the hereafter, and  He has prepared for them a Chastisement bringing disgrace. [4]

And the Messenger of Allah said:

"فاطمة بضعة منّى من آذاها فقد آذانى"

"Fatima is a part of my flesh: whoever causes her to be upset, upsets me."[5]

In the wake of last year’s statement issued on the occasion of the martyrdom of Fatima Zahra, the daughter of the Holy Prophet (pbuh), it is hereby stated that the commemoration of the martyrdom of that great lady, who is the first and greatest martyred lady in the way of wilayah (successorship), is a renewal of the covenant with the lofty position of wilayah which amounts to perfection of religion and completion of divine bounty[6].

The martyred lady is Fatima whose satisfaction is the holy Prophet’s satisfaction and the Prophet’s satisfaction is God’s satisfaction and whose wrath is the Prophet’s wrath and Prophet’s wrath is God’s wrath. She is the woman whom the Infallible Imams, the most perfect human beings of the human history, are proud of being born to. She is the woman who guaranteed Shia with her very short life and confounded friends and foes with her bewildering speech.

She is the lady who, with her incessant cries in and out of the city of Medina, made others understand the magnanimity of the calamity of her father’s demise and the oppression that her husband suffered thereafter. It seems as though her voice is still echoing throughout Medina.

Shi’ites are proud of learning the pure teachings of the Religion from the school of her Infallible children, teachings which are consistent with common sense, presentable in every circumstance and capable of meeting the human needs. Surely, with the school of Fatima and her children did the vigilant Iranian nation withstand tyranny and oppression and achieve its independence and strength.

The sworn enemies have noticed the fact that in order to destroy this nation, they have to eradicate religious rites such as Fatimiyah, Ashura, Sha’aban and Ramadhan so that they may then reach their evil pursuits.

Here it is necessary to reiterate that commemorating religious events and holding mourning ceremonies were Imam Khomeini’s undeniable practical traditions and they have nothing to do with the issue of Muslim unity. Unity stressed by Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Boroujerdi did not mean that Shia should desist from their religious beliefs or ignore them, rather it means that Muslims must unite in the face of international arrogance which, with inspiration from Zionism, aims at monopolizing power and breaking up the concrete fundamentals of Islam.

It is now the Shi’ites’s duty to commemorate the third of Jamadi Al-Thani which has been declared as a holiday by the Islamic Republic of Iran. Mourning gatherings should be held and processions should be taken out into the streets so that by doing so we may have fulfilled part of our obligations towards that martyred lady.

“Intend they to put out the Light of God with their mouths! But God will perfect His Light, though averse may be the disbelievers.” [7]

God's light is and shall be shining brightly throughout the history. Those having prejudice Those having prejudice-free hearts will benefit from it.

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate the Merciful

Surely (as for) those who speak evil things of Allah and His Messenger, Allah has cursed them in this world and the hereafter, and He has prepared for them a Chastisement bringing disgrace. [8]

And the Messenger of Allah said:

"فاطمة بضعة منّى من آذاها فقد آذانى"

"Fatima is a part of my flesh: whoever causes her to be upset, upsets me."[9]

These days are the martyrdom days of Hazrat Fatima-e Zahra who was her father's mother and the mother of the Infallible Imams, the chief individual in the pure family of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) and so great a secret of the creation which even the Shiites and her devout lovers have not known let alone other human beings. Her reality remained hidden behind the curtain of injustice, enmity and ignorance and shall not become luminous until the Day of Judgment.

Not only Shia but also humanity and the entire existence are proud of her, knowing her as the cause of the endurance of the religion of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) and the human society getting quenched from the virtues and knowledge of her children.

What a dark and gloomy horizon would it be, if Zahra, the great lady of the two worlds did not shine there. As per the Holy verse of the Quran, (Say: I do not ask of you any reward for it but love for my near relatives. [10])all human beings are under the obligation to love the near relatives and the household of the Holy Prophet  (pbuh) including Hazrat Fatima Zahra as the foremost member of the household.

This is a divine obligation of all human beings at all time and durations to respect and commemorate them. The obligation is not directed to the people of the Prophet's time only.

Love of Hazrat Fatima is a reward and a revival of the memories, pains and calamities that she suffered.

We can never forget those calamities and history stands witness to the pains and injustice that she suffered. Following her martyrdom the Commander of the Faithful, Ali (a.s.) who is the chief of the monotheists said: "My grief and sorrow is everlasting and endless."  Does this interpretation not show that the Shia of Ali (a.s.) and Ummah of the holy Prophet (pbuh) cannot separate themselves from this grief and sorrow?

It is now the duty of the Shi’ites and followers of the Ahlalbayt (a.s.) to commemorate Wednesday, the third of Jamadi Al-Thani which according to authentic traditions is the day of the martyrdom of Hazrat Fatima. Thank God, this day has been declared as an official holiday by the Islamic Republic of Iran.. The commemorations should be magnificent and mourning processions should come out into the streets so that by doing so we may have fulfilled part of our obligations towards her – Insha Allah.

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate the Merciful

" السلام عليک يا ايتها الصديقة الشهيدة"[11]

We are on the eve of the martyrdom anniversary of the great lady of Islam and the world, Fatima Zahra, peace and blessings of Allah be upon her.

She is the lady who is a source of divine pride and the fruit of her father's heart, wife of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali (a.s.) and the mother of the Infallible Imams (a.s.). She is the greatest lady of the worlds. Although the Holy Quran says about Maryam (Mary) "(Allah) has chosen you above the women of the world"[12] according to reliable narrations, the choice has been made because of her giving birth to Jesus without a husband. Mary was unique from this exclusive aspect.

As for Hazrat Fatima Zahra, she is above all other women of the world in terms of knowledge, infallibility, purity and servitude to God.

It is necessary on Muslims in general and Shi’ites in particular to commemorate the third of Jamadi Al-Thani which is the day of the martyrdom of Hazrat Fatima and which has been announced as a holiday by the Islamic Republic of Iran. The commemorations should be magnificent and mourning processions should come out into the streets so that by doing so we may have fulfilled part of our obligations towards her and change this day eventually into another Ashura.  Praise belongs to Allah, our Fatimi nation has fulfilled its duty in the best possible manner and it is necessary to thank them for doing so. Obviously, respecting and commemorating the position of Hazrat Zahra is actually revering of the holy Prophet (pbuh) and the reward of his prophetic mission.

Iran's great nation made great achievements during the Islamic revolution by holding firm to the covenant of the Ahlalbayt (a.s.). The nation is going ahead with the same force and we must know that the secret of our success lies in our faith, adherence to the school of Ahlalbayt (a.s.) and invocation to them.  True Shia and true Islam are our identity. May Allah benefit us from the kind attention of His kawthar, Fatima Zahra (a.s.).
