Adhan and Iqamah

"Allahu Akbar" 

Allah is greater than any description.

"Ash hadu an la ilaha illal lah"

I testify that there is no god but Allah.

"Ash hadu anna Muhammadan Rasulul lah"

I testify that Muhammad is Allah's Messenger.

"Hayya alas Salah"

Hasten to prayers.

"Hayya alal Falah"

Hasten to deliverance.

"Hayya¨ala Khayril Amal"

Hasten to the best act.

"Qadqa matis Salah"

Prayer has certainly been established.

"Allahu Akbar"

Allah is greater than any thing

"La ilaha illal lah"

There is no god but Allah.

The Translation of Prayer

Takbiratul Ehram (saying Allahu Akbar while commencing the prayer)

"Allahu Akbar"

Allah is greater than any thing

"Rahmanir Rahim Bismillahir"

In the name of Allah the Compassionate theMerciful.

"Alhamdu lillahi Rabbil alamin"

Special praise be to Allah, the Sustainer of creation.

"Arrahmanir Rahim"

The Compassionate, the Merciful.

" Maliki yaw middin"

Lord of the Day of Judgement.

" Iyyaka na'budu wa iyyaka nasta'in."

You alone we worhip, and to you alone we pray for help.

" Ihdinas siratal mustaqim"

Guide us to the straight path.

" Siratal lazina a¨n amta alayhim"

The path of those whom you have favored

" Ghayril maghzubi alayhim walazzallin."

Not of these who have incurred your warth,nor of those who have gone astray.

Surah al - Ikhlas

"Bismil lahir Rahmanir Rahim"

In the name of Allah the compassionate, theMerciful.

"Qul huwallahu Ahad "

Say: Allah is one - the Eternal Being

"Allahussamad "
Allah is He who is independent of all beings.

"Lam yalid walam yulad"

He begot none, nor was he begotten.

"Walam yakullahu kufuwan ahad"

And none in the creation is equal to him.

The Zikr During Ruku

"Subhana Rabbiyal¨ Azim wa bihamdih"

Glory be to my High Sustainer and I praise him.

The Zikr During Sajdah

"Subhana Rabbiyal Ala wa bihamdih"

Glory be to my Great Sustainer, Most High, and I praise Him.

Translation of Tasbihat ArbÄah

"Subhanallahi wal hamdu lillahi wala ilahaLallahu wallahu Akbar."

Glory be to Allah, and all praise is for Him and there is no one worth worshiping other than Allah, and He is greater than anything.

Translation of Tashahhud and Salam

"Ash hadu an la ilaha illal lahu wahdahu lasharika lah"

I testify that there is none worth worshiping except the Almighty Allah, who is one and has no partner.

"Wa Ashhadu anna Muhammadan abduhu waRasuluh"

And I testify that Muhammad is his servant and messenger.

"Alla humma sallÕ ala Muhammadin wa Ali Muhammad."

O Allah! Send your blessing on Muhammad and his progeny.

" Assalamu alayka ayyuhan Nabiyyu warahmatul lahi wa barakatuh."

O prophet ! Allah's peace , blessing and grace be upon you.

" Assalamu alayna wa ala ibadil lahis salihin."

Those offering prayers - Allah's peace be on us, and upon all the pious servants of Allah.

"Assalamu alay kum wa rahmatullahi wabarakatuh."

Allah's peace, blessings and grace be on you believers.
