Rules of Taharat (Cleanliness).

18. Water is either pure (unmixed) or mixed (added): Mixed water (Muzaf) means the water that is obtained from something like melon juice, and rosewater, or the water which is mixed with something, like the water which is mixed with dust so that it may not be called water. Any other water is called pure water. Pure or unmixed water has five types:

  • 1. Kurr water
  • 2. Qalil water
  • 3. Running water
  • 4. Rain water
  • 5. Well water
